Join the Business Transformation Sector at CMHC, in the Change Management Team, where we effectively deliver technology enabled transformative initiatives, harnessing robust core capabilities, that set CMHC up for long term success. As part of the Change Management team, in this Specialist role, you will use your leadership, strategic thinking and analytical skills to provide change management support to corporate projects and initiatives. A key part of your role will be promoting integration across CMHC’s portfolio of change initiatives to support a seamless change experience for our employees. You will also contribute to the advancement of organizational change management capability by promoting the value and role of change management across the organization. This position has a duration of 15 months. What You’ll Do: Provide change management advisory services to mitigate change risks, support decision-making, and ensure integration across CMHC’s change initiatives. Work with leaders and teams at all levels to assess the impact of change, define a process for managing it, and develop change strategies and plans to execute on its delivery. Apply the change management methodology to develop change management strategies and detailed plans on a portfolio of corporate change projects. Monitor and report on progress of the execution of change strategies and plans. Provide recommendations to project leaders on best practices and targeted interventions that will manage resistance to change. Support advancement of organizational change management capability by educating employees on the value and role of change management and by developing and socializing change management tools and resources. What You Need: An undergraduate degree in a related field such as business, finance, social or human sciences. A minimum of five years of relevant experience supporting change management on complex projects. Good knowledge of change management principles and methodologies, including a change management certification (ADKAR preferred, others acceptable). A demonstrated experience developing, implementing and measuring change management strategies, plans and tactics, to effectively lead others through change. Advanced interpersonal, oral and written communication, facilitation, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
