We are looking for an electromechanical technician to fill a permanent position on a day shift in a clean area. You will be an autonomous person in a highly secure environment. Position: Electromechanical technician Location: Montreal area Schedule: Day Salary: 66k. at 72k. Advantages Group Insurance Medical and dental insurance wellness program Paid vacation Pension program Responsibilities Applies company policies and procedures to perform routine tasks. Responds quickly to service calls, performs maintenance on equipment systems at customer site, and assists operators with operational issues. Maintains and develops technical skills through formal training programs, on-site training and on-the-job training. Manage parts inventory, coordinates shipment of parts for repair and replenishment, and maintains inventory of tools and test equipment. Records maintenance activities using approved methods and procedures. Performs all activities safely and follows company policies and procedures relating to safety. Performs other assigned duties. Qualifications A minimum of 3 years practical experience with electromechanical equipment Have skills in electromechanical troubleshooting, an understanding of electronic principles and a working knowledge of computer systems, PCs and networks. Hands-on experience with solenoids, belts, rollers, bearings, pneumatics and guides is a plus. Must possess effective oral and written communication skills. Use a laptop/tablet for administrative and diagnostic tasks.
