For more information, visit www.cornwall.ca Overview Reporting to the Manager, Housing Services, this position will be responsible for assisting the Department with delivery of programs and services that support human services integration.  The ideal person will personify the values of integrity, trust, ethics, and values while being a relentless pursuer of self-development. The Operations, Coordinator also contributes to the creation of an atmosphere conducive to achieving high levels of quality of life and health and safety for both clients and employees, in ensuring the proper execution of the following: Assists with the coordination, analysis and creation of reports in assisting to identify trends and resource requirements for the department.  Assists the department in staying current with larger provincial and federal initiatives by conducting research into these programs, and providing the administrative lead on grant writing and applications in support of the department. Assists with the general coordination of the departments’ administrative duties and functions ensuring the adherence to deadlines and objective dates. In collaboration with colleagues, coordinates departmental adherence to governing corporate policies and procedures and be the subject matter expert within the department. Seeks to build a relationship of mutual trust and respect amongst all peers and colleagues within the department using progressive collaboration and team building concept. Supports and advocates the development and monitoring of continuous improvement initiatives and assist with the proper compliance to legislation and accreditation requirements. In collaboration with colleagues, assists with the liaison between ITT and the Ministry to facilitate any software/hardware integration/installation projects and maintain hardware and small ITT items inventory to ensure they remain updated and can be deployed to users as needed. Required Qualifications & Experience A post-secondary education in business administration, human services or other related field of study  As we are looking to grow with the right candidate for this position, we are not requiring any previous experience but anyone with similar previous experience who may be interested is encouraged to apply; experience or knowledge of LEAN principles and practices would be considered an asset. The ideal skill set for this position includes very strong abilities with information technology and its progressive applications, self-sufficient, win-win problem solving, analysis and interpretation of information supporting recommendations, and strong communication abilities in both verbal and writing mediums. Core competencies for the position include strong administrative ability, maintaining a strong commitment to ongoing learning and self-development, being action oriented while possessing perseverance to see a objective through to the end. Knowledge of the department would be considered an asset. Must be fully bilingual in French/English, testing will be conducted within the recruitment process.
