Overview:Reporting directly to the Operations Manager this Developmental role aligns with the team’s dedication to safety excellence and emphasis on delivery industry-leading service and solutions. In this position, the new hire will optimize our customer relationships using the Salesforce CRM platform and drive the growth of sustainable product sales in the local market by actively engaging with our customers and stakeholders. Position Summary:The Developmental Sales Representative, under the guidance of the Customer Service & Logistics Supervisor, undertakes various responsibilities including supporting commercial sales by collecting and organizing project information, examining basic construction documents and compiling bid packages. The incumbent will focus on capturing market data and enhancing effectiveness through Salesforce CRM. This role plays a crucial part in driving the success of our sustainable eco-source products and offerings. The ideal candidate will have a background in sales, an understanding of CRM (Salesforce), and a passion for promoting environmentally responsible solutions. Key Responsibilities: Adheres to all relevant safety policies and procedures. Conduct research to identify potential leads and target accounts. Clearly articulate the value proposition and benefits of our offerings. Build and nurture relationships with prospects through effective communication. Takes responsibilities for marketing, promoting, and selling our range of products in both external and internal construction markets. Develop and execute sales strategies to promote our sustainable products, aligning with market demand and sustainable goals. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions that align with our eco-friendly product portfolio. Act as a subject matter expert on our sustainable eco-source products and offerings. Collaborate with our commercial & environment and sustainability teams to provide customer feedback and contribute to the enhancement of sustainable product offerings. Utilize Salesforce CRM to gather, analyze, and interpret market data. Take ownership of Salesforce CRM to streamline sales processes, enhance data accuracy, and maximize efficiency. Provide ongoing training and support to commercial team on Salesforce utilization Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of sales initiatives. Generate regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and CRM utilization, providing insights for continuous improvement. Follows Salesforce Effectiveness requirements and ensures all action plans, corporate and individual sales goals and objectives are captured. Records customer information, pricing details, and project forecasts in Salesforce. Actively participates in monthly commercial meetings, demonstrating proactive engagement. Presents a comprehensive sales progress report, discussing monthly performance with the Commercial Manager. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify market trends, customer preferences, and competitive intelligence. Examines project specifications, including aggregates specifications, contract details, and assigned terms and conditions. Results / Accountabilities: Ensure the Salesforce platform contains current and accurate sales information. Develop and execute sales strategies to promote sustainable products, aligning with market demand and sustainability goals. Achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set by the department for sustainable products. Adhere strictly to all internal control requirements. Identify and communicate recommendations for enhancements. Manage customer accounts properly and accurately in accordance with Lafarge policies. Dimensions: Collaborates closely with various stakeholders, including commercial team members, operations, quality assurance, customer care and logistics, environmental, finance and salesforce business group. Reports directly to the Customer Service & Logistics Supervisor. Salary Range: $60,.00 to $70,.00 per annum Qualification Profile:Education and Work Experience: Recent graduate from university/college with business management degree/diploma with one to three years of industry experience. Interest in a long-term career in sales, business and construction Knowledge and Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities. Knowledge of Salesforce CRM and its applications in optimizing sales process an advantage High level of precision and attention to detail. Eagerness to learn, with a proactive approach to seeking information. Self-motivated individual capable of rapidly establishing and sustaining positive working relationships. Proven experience in sales an advantage Strong problem-solving skills demonstrated through initiative and resourcefulness. Project Management Skills an advantage Strong Analytical skills to respond to requested changes and identify customizations Ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines Proven capacity to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
