What you will be doing in this role :

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of residents/clients.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of the care team.
• Ensure that all care services are delivered in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders.
• Develop and manage budgets.
• Sound knowledge of relevant long term care legislation is essential.

What you must have :

• Must be an RN
• 5+ years of experience as a prior Director of Care within a Long Term Care Facility
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
