It can be a bit chaotic at times, but there's no shortage of greatness in the madness!  For a glimpse into what life at  Envol is really like, visit our  career page  or check us out on  Instagram .    A DAY IN THE LIFE As a Temporary Administrative Assistant, you will report to and work closely with the Admin Coordinator and will be responsible for owning all-things admin. In this role, you will get the opportunity to gain experience in various areas of the organization including, but not limited to, the following:  Providing support with the coordination and execution of UFCW events.  Facilitating member communications and digital communications.  Supporting union reps with setting up online votes, sending out mass communication through various tools and editing other correspondence using best office administration practices.  Ensuring the accuracy of member records and other databases.  Coordinating both general and member correspondence.  Addressing member grievances.  Overseeing member bargaining and contract cycles to ensure their accuracy.  Supporting with member organizing.  Providing reception support and its associated responsibilities as necessary.  Assisting in the preparation and implementation of meetings.  Liaising between employers, suppliers, members, and others.  Supporting members at workplaces by ensuring accuracy of the member database, processing documentation and creating various communications efficiently.   WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE   Some post-secondary training in administration or an equivalent with 1-2 years of general administrative and/or clerical and/or event support experience.  A positive energy with a can-do attitude – you’re always ready to jump in and support where you can!  Expert ability to adapt as hurdles present themselves and think critically to problem-solve along the way.  You’re not afraid to ask questions and don’t shy away from learning – in fact, you embrace it!  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Stellar computer literacy skills including proficiency with Microsoft software (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint), digital communication tools (Zoom, email, etc.) and other mainstream programs (like Adobe Pro).  Superior organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills that allow you to work accurately and efficiently when given tight turnaround times.  Exceptional attention to detail – nothing gets past you!  IT’S A BONUS IF YOU...  Have experience providing administrative support to executives.  Are multilingual and can speak and/or write in more than one language.  ABOUT OUR CLIENT  At UFCW 1518, we believe that we are stronger together.
