Employee time sheet organizingSpotted Properties Inc. is in search of a qualified and experienced accounts administrator or bookkeeper.

We are a young fast-growing property management company that manages investment properties on behalf of property owners in Hamilton Ontario. In total, we are managing upwards of 700 tenants with a constant focus on growth and a commitment to constantly make our services better for new and existing clients.

We are looking for a part-time accountant/bookkeeper. Duties would include but are not limited to:

  • Enter new clients information
  • Process direct debit for tenant rent payments
  • Prepare deposit slip for cheques and money orders
  • Perform bank deposits
  • Enter and process weekly vendor invoices
  • Data entry for accounts payable
  • Reconcile accounts by property and prepare monthly statements for owners
  • Reconcile monthly financial statements
  • Employee time sheet organizing
  • Submission of ADP Payroll
  • Assist in organizing receipt files and reconciling bank accounts
  • HST entry
  • Managing year end payroll documentation
  • WSIB and ROE filing when required We are looking for someone to grow with us, someone that has a strong understanding of technology and is eager to innovate and take their position to the next level. We also want a team player, someone that will enjoy and enhance our work environment.

Preferred skills and experiences:

  • Knowledge in general accounting principals
  • Experience in Quickbooks and Buildium is preferred
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle complaints
  • Attention to detail with excellent problem solving skills
  • Experience working in the real estate field is an asset
