Break through at Brock.Post End Date:July 3, 2024Instructor ADST 5P71 Fall BURLINGTONCompensationEffective September 1, 2024 - $7, per half course (195 hours nominally)Effective September 1, 2024 - $14, per full course (390 hours nominally)Please note: Instructors who are employed in a 2-hour/week lecture, or the equivalent of a 2-hour/week lecture, are responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course.DutiesDuties and responsibilities will be in accordance with Article of the Collective Agreement. These include scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time (preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking and grading and course administration, including grade appeals and cases of academic dishonesty).QualificationsThe qualifications for this position have changed since it was last posted.1. Completed PhD in Applied Behaviour Analysis, Psychology, or related discipline.2. BCBA required.3. Demonstrated academic teaching and work experience in Applied Behaviour Analysis.4. Experience in applied research with persons with disabilities and/or ABA.5. Proven online teaching experience required – synchronous and asynchronous experience preferred.6. Available to teach primarily IN PERSON IN BURLINGTON* during the day on weekends ( 9-5) as scheduled, some online instruction during evenings on weekdays as required, and asynchronous instruction (, lectures, activities) as needed to meet course requirements.7. Instructors are required to provide office hours for 1:1 and group student support as needed. 8. Experience using Brightspace or other online instructional platforms.9. Experience using video conferencing platforms (, Lifesize, Microsoft Teams)10. Able to attend department related meetings via video conference as required.*
