We are seeking an experienced Contracts Advisor for a contract opportunity with a well established client of ours. This position can be based in Calgary or Vancouver. The Contracts Advisor will primarily oversee the development / management of: multi-year strategic construction / service awards (RFI, EOI, RFP, negotiations, contract drafting, contract kick-off, post-contract award management). Advantages - Competitive hourly rate - Opportunity for longer term contract extension Responsibilities -Oversee the development / management of: multi-year strategic construction / service awards (RFI, EOI, RFP, negotiations, contract drafting, contract kick-off, post-contract award management). Qualifications -10 years of progressive experience in procurement organizations with a focus on construction (services) contract modeling (multi-year strategy development, RFI, EOI, RFP, Canadian Bid Law, negotiations, contract drafting, post-contract award) -Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Law, or Engineering Advanced Business degree would be considered an asset SCMP or equivalent procurement / supply change management designation or certification would be considered an asset -Proven track record of influencing authority at all levels (including senior management) in the development and execution of spend management strategies -Demonstrated ability to develop and implement complex multi-year supply strategy programs -Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver large and complex SCM initiatives -Solid grasp of project management principles Long term, full lifecycle ownership of ongoing contract and supplier relationship management to ensure company business goals are being achieved -Solid understanding of Canadian Bid Law Summary If you would like to be considered for this opportunity please forward your resume via email to Nick Paraskeva nick.paraskeva@randstad.ca Randstad Canada is committed to fostering a workforce reflective of all peoples of Canada.
