Our client, Salvus Clinic, is seeking a passionate leader to join their team as Executive Director in Moncton, NB.Salvus is dedicated to providing primary healthcare, housing support, and service navigation to those facing homelessness, poverty, mental health challenges, and substance use issues. Understanding that basic health needs can become overwhelming without stable housing and support, Salvus offers care for everyone, no matter their situation. Their services include counseling, addiction management, illness prevention, housing support, and connecting individuals with essential social services. Collaborating with partners like Horizon Health Network, Vitalité Health Network, local shelters, and other community organizations, Salvus ensures comprehensive care for its clients.The Executive Director will lead a team that delivers integrated health and housing services, supporting individuals with long-term mental health and substance use challenges. This role oversees the Clinic’s operations, ensuring that its mission and values are reflected in every service provided.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership and ManagementRetain diverse and qualified staff and volunteers by providing career coaching, training, and team-building opportunities for their growth and personal development Provide leadership, management, and performance reviews to clinic project staff, including recruitment, contract signing, salary administration, and scheduling Operational Planning and AdministrationPlan, organize, and lead the organization’s operations and programsImplement organizational strategic plan Maintain current, relevant, and accurate reports on the organizations results to the Board of DirectorsIdentify and recommend facilities, staff, and equipment needs with supporting documentation Fundraising and Financial AcumenDevelop, research, and implement grant and fundraising strategies Prepare and communicate accurate and timely analysis of grants and fundraising results, variances, and performance trendsCoordinate and lead budget reviews and periodic forecasts for each project area Ensure strong funding relationships with internal and external stakeholders that align with and support strategic goalsOversee financial management in accordance with accounting policies, procedures, and reporting metrics Stakeholder Engagement and Community RelationsDevelop and maintain relationships with community, business, government agencies, and other stakeholders as needed fostering collaboration and support Engage in proactive media and community outreach through various channels such as social media, print, radio, TV, and involvement in local committees and councils Experience and QualificationsYou have at least five (5) years of not-for-profit management or supervisory experience, ideally in the public or social welfare sectorYou hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Administration, Social Sciences, Social Work, Health, Planning, etc.)You have strong financial, operational, and administrative management skills You lead with empathy, value collaboration, and are a skilled relationship builder and communicator.
