Responsibilities

  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Ensures timely and quality service delivery to internal clients;
  • Maintains files department and compliance files;
  • Creates vendor files and checks accuracy on completed paperwork submitted;
  • Follow up on purchasing procedures. Processes invoices and ensures proper cost center coding;
  • Assists with the facilities inspections;
  • Assist with process and procedure training;
  • Monitoring shipping, receiving, supply, and compliance schedules;
  • Maintain planned systems backlog according to facility guidelines and utilize backlog to schedule daily and weekly work list;
  • Partner with Shipping and Receiving Supervisors to review systems requests and determine feasibility and safety controls for work to be performed;
  • Participate in process meetings with multiple departmental Supervisors, Managers, and Planners to review upcoming requests, weekly scheduling, inventory, and systems planning;
  • Supports systems by working with computer processes that are integral for the business to stay compliant with regulations set out by the ministry of environment;
  • Other duties as assigned; Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Required;
  • Post Secondary Education is preferred;
  • Basic Financial knowledge preferred -invoicing, PO’s, and general financial administrative tasks;
  • Ability to be organized, think ahead, lead, direct and follow-up Required;
  • Ability to be positive in multiple environments, work with a diverse team, and be a self-starter;
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks, priorities, as well as able to work on your own with mínimal instruction;
  • Ability to take instruction;
  • Ability to work with technology and software programs;
