RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintaining and operating a field service truck for day-to-day field and shop maintenance services.
- Performing overhauls of natural gas engines and compressors in the oil and gas industry.
- Providing mechanical services in both field and shop settings.
- Working independently with customers.
- Supervising apprentices and others as needed.
- Complying with company quality and health and safety procedures.
- Building and maintaining positive professional relationships with existing and potential customers.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Journeyman Mechanic or Millwright Certificate.
- Apprentices with good attitude may be considered.
- Valid certifications in First Aid, H2S Alive, WHMIS 2015, and TDG.
- Must have experience with natural gas engines, wellheads, and compressors.
- Possess well-rounded knowledge of engine and compressor performance and operations.
- Highly motivated and well-organized.
- Flexible with work schedules to meet customer demands.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
