Join our growing Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) team. Our TeamThe OHS division provides integrated solutions to construction, industrial, commercial, and manufacturing clients who require support in assessing and implementing various health and safety and industrial hygiene programs in their workplace. The combined skills of our industrial hygiene and safety professionals, their diverse backgrounds in safety assessments, auditing, program development and worker exposure surveys provide our clients with a team recognized as leaders in the field.The RoleAs a Project Manager you will work on a variety of projects such as: audits/assessments, construction site inspections, noise and air monitoring, confined space evaluations, developing various occupational health and safety programs and procedures, chemical exposure control plans/procedures and/ or managing the review of those documents.As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for:Prepare proposals and project budgetsDevelop OH&S policies, programs, and proceduresConduct on-site assessments and audits, and complete reportsConduct or manage occupational hygiene surveys Develop and deliver OH&S training courses (in-house and external)Review the work of assigned employees and colleagues to ensure it meets the standards established for Pinchin workProvide technical mentorship and training to team members Client development and marketing What You Bring to the Pinchin TeamA university degree in engineering, chemistry, or physics, or a degree in a closely related biological or physical science Professional health and safety designation: e.g. CIH/ROH/CRSP/CSP or actively working towards certification an asset3 or more years of occupational hygiene and/or safety experience with sound knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation (e.g. WorkSafe BC, Canada Labour Code, etc.)Consulting or project management experience is an assetExcellent communication skills, professional presentation, and technical expertiseProven writing skills and a high level of attention to detailFamiliarity with invoicing, budgeting, and other areas of project related financial managementExcellent customer services skillsReliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license required for lower mainland travel (all reimbursable)Ability to travel out of town on occasionWhat’s in it for you: Of course, we offer competitive salaries and great benefits, but what makes Pinchin stand out from the crowd?
