• Develop production schedules and duty assignments to ensure proper functioning

• Maintain an inventory of raw materials and finished products to prevent shortages

• Develop equipment maintenance schedules and recommend the replacement of machines

• Direct quality control inspections

• Hire, supervise and train or oversee training of employees in the use of new equipment or production techniques

• Organize and maintain inventory

• Compile records and interpret experimental or analytical results

• Compile records for analytical studies

• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses :

• Safe quality foods (SQF) Certificate

• Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate

• Hazard Analysis and Criticial Control Points (HACCP) Certification

• Knowledge of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency Analytical techniques :

• Sampling Computer and technology knowledge :
