Maintenance Mechanics/Millwrights (433A)

Patron Career Staffing is urgently hiring Licensed Industrial Millwrights(433a) in Richmond, BC . Responsibilities: Perform all planned maintenance (Preventive & Predictive) assigned promptly and use a Computerized Maintenance Management System to log in all planned, reactive and emergency activities. Repair and capture detailed root cause and countermeasures of breakdowns and communicate effectively to management and peers. Ensures effective and timely on-floor support to the maintenance department members, including regular, off-shift and weekend coverage as required. Assist in the on-going improvement of work order system. Works with the maintenance and engineering team to implement permanent solutions for equipment and process problems. Must be familiar with the use of measuring tools and safe operation of hand tools including grinders, drills, mechanical saws, sanders, and buffers. Support the effort to develop and document maintenance procedures, point lessons and implement a competency-based training program. Works as a team member on small and large technical projects. Experience with the overall pasteurization process, considered an asset. Assist and repair valves and pumps. Performs additional work as required. Experience: Licensed millwright (e.g., 433A), Technician or Technologist Degree or Diploma related to maintenance/engineering, with a preference for electrical, mechanical, and robotics specialization. Ability to work with CMMS; conduct and complete planned maintenance tasks, complete work orders, and generate work orders. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven and high-intensity environment. Strong communication, learning, and teaching skills. Strong team player. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical periodicals, procedures, engineering drawings and government regulations. Strong Microsoft Office skills including the ability to gather and document data and working knowledge of MS Office suite of programs.
