Full-time G Class Driver - Mount Forest, On

About : Cardinal Couriers is looking for motivated individuals to join our team. This position is responsible of loading orders into an assigned company vehicle and following a predetermined route to ensure that all deliveries are made safely and on time. This is a physically demanding, fast-paced environment that requires driving, lifting, lowering, and carrying packages to ensure damage free delivery.

Roles/responsibilities of the ideal hire :

• Complete pick-ups and deliveries throughout the evening for pre 8am parcel availability deliveries/pick-ups.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of items delivered to the warehouse.
• Complete pre
• and post-trip vehicle inspections and operate company equipment safely.
• Daily submission and completion of all required documentation in an accurate manner, to be submitted to Night Supervisor and/or Operations Manager as soon as possible.
• Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher
• PPE required to be worn at all times on the worksite, on the customer site and in any yard (vest and shoes)

Who you are :

• You have 2-3 years of commercial driving experience, have clean driver abstracts and C.V.O.R report.
• You are a team player & have positive relations with customers and colleagues
• You are knowledge and abide all safety standards and driving standards
• You are comfortable working in an environment where there is mínimal supervision
• You have good communication skills, multi-tasking skills and can meet deadlines
• You are described as a dedicated, hardworking, and very detail-oriented
• You can load/unload packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
• You keep an organized and clean environment
• You have strong problem-solving skills
• You own a pair of safety boots
• You are flexible regarding start/end times (if needed)
