Business Address: 1337 Fox Harbour Road, Fox Harbour, NS, B0K 1Y0 Work location: same as above Type of Employment: Full-time, year round Estimated Start Date: April 10th, 2024 Job Description: Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of a restaurant, bar, cafeteria or other food or beverage service Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures Recruit staff and oversee staff training Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies Negotiate arrangements with clients for catering or use of facilities for banquets or receptions Requirements: - Education: Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is usually required. -Experience: Responsible beverage service certification required ·         Several years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, are required. - Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling - Personal suitability: Reliability, Organized, Team player, Dependability - Work Site Environment: Outdoors, Indoors - Language: Advanced level of English is required   Salary: $24.00 hourly, 40.00 hours per week.
