BD Diesel is looking for reliable and dependable Quality Specialist who can help us with regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes related duties with a can-do attitude.

Shift: 7a.m. to 3:30p.m. Monday to Friday.

Quality Specialist's responsibilities include:

  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes and finished products
  • Implement and maintain quality control standards and procedures
  • Identify and address quality issues and discrepancies, providing solutions and recommendations for improvement
  • Coordinate with production teams to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Analyze product specifications and requirements to establish quality and reliability standards
  • Develop and implement inspection criteria and procedures for incoming, in-process, and final inspections
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate quality control techniques into overall company processes
  • Manage the calibration and maintenance of quality control equipment
  • Participate in product development meetings to provide input on quality standards and expectations
  • Oversee the management of non-conforming materials, ensuring proper documentation, segregation, and disposition
  • Conduct root cause analysis for defects and implement corrective actions
  • Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance product quality and efficiency
  • Provide technical and statistical expertise to teams
  • Engage in supplier quality performance monitoring and improvement activities
  • Maintain accurate quality documentation and records
  • Prepare and present regular quality reports to management
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
  • Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to enhance manufacturing processes
  • Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
  • Train staff on quality control measures and new protocols

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
  • Certification in Quality Control/Assurance is preferred (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO certifications)
  • Proven experience (Minimum 5 Years) in quality control/assurance in the automotive or manufacturing sector
  • Experience with 5S and Lean thinking and methods
  • Strong knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in the use of quality testing tools and software
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence
