Automotive Service Advisor

We are currently seeking an individual to join our team as an Automotive Service Advisor for our family owned and operated business. We have been established since 2003 with a large customer base and provide repairs to all types of automobiles.

We would love to have an outgoing, friendly and organized person take on this role. This is a Monday to Friday 8am-5pm position.

The job duties of this position include :

  • Greeting customers on the phone and in the front office.
  • Scheduling and keeping track of appointments.
  • Recording vehicle odometer reading, VIN, plate, etc.
  • Creating work orders that outline the customers concerns.
  • Transferring the technicians inspection notes onto work orders.
  • Locating replacement parts through different suppliers and ordering.
  • Keeping track of inventory.
  • Quoting jobs and presenting them to the customer.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized front office space and desk.
  • Communicating between the customers and technicians.
  • Completing transactions.
  • Follow up calls with customers.

On the job training will be provided including learning the shop management software. Customer service experience and basic automotive knowledge is a must. Experience with Lankar is considered an asset.

Hourly pay rate is to be discussed depending on experience.
