Job Summary
We are a small community pharmacy attached to a pediatric walk in clinic.
We have customers of all ages walking though ours doors and we take pride in our excellent customer service.
Currently we are looking for part-time assistants
with previous pharmacy experience to work days, evenings and weekends.
Part Time Availability: Days/Evenings/Weekends
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide Customer Service to Patients and Customers
- Receive, Enter (computer), and Prepare Prescriptions from Patients
- Maintain Inventory Control
- Clerical Organization (Filing, Scanning, Manual Billings/Reversals)
- Cash Duties (use of POS, Cash Handling, Maintaining Inventory)
- General Housekeeping
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous Experience in Dispensary
- Knowledge of Pharmacy Software (Kroll an asset)
- Computer Skills Required
- Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
- Exceptional Interpersonal, Organization, and Problem Solving Skills, Decision-Making, Conflict Resolution, and Critical Thinking Abilities
- Ability to Function Effectively in a Team with a Strong Customer Focus
- Proven Record of Attendance and Punctuality
- Ability to Perform the Physical Demands of the Position
