Installation Apprentice

This is an entry level position where the applicant will "learn by doing" the proper installation processes for wood burning appliances (wood fireplaces, stoves, inserts and pellet burning units)

Working at heights, use of ladders and getting on and off roofs can be a daily task so the applicant must be comfortable with heights and be able to support the installation lead by following directions and working independently in the process of the installation.

Responsibilities :

• Execute the direction given to them by the Installation lead.
• Have their own set of hand tools (drill, level, tape measure..etc)
• Ensure safety protocols are in place at all times
• Must be able to Lift heavy loads in unison with the Lead (usually only for short times to get the unit into place) and then the installation works from the unit up.
• Present a positive appearance as you will be representing the company and be working within customers domain.
• clean drivers abstract as you may be driving company vehicles on occasion.

Skills :

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to Follow direction and forecast what the next steps of install are to begin prep.
• Flexible in their schedule and their mindset...some days run into the evening depending on scope of work and travel time etc... the job must get completed so being "okay" for the seasonal demands of the job is critical.

Positive and results driven attitude is key. Along with pristine Punctuality, Flexibility and Team mindset are attributes we are looking for... this is a Full Time position, for the right person may lead into them becoming WETT certified which can lead to growth within the company.

Salary : $18.00-$20.00 per hour
