Who We Are: Scarborough Transit Connect (STC) has been awarded the design and early works of the Scarborough Subway Extension project. The Scarborough Subway Extension will bring the TTC’s Line 2 subway service nearly eight kilometers farther into Scarborough. It will extend from Kennedy Station to Sheppard Avenue and McCowan Road, providing quick and seamless transit for those heading into and out of the downtown core and those travelling within Scarborough. The extension will replace Line 3 (the Scarborough RT), helping to reduce travel times and improve access to jobs, schools, and other key destinations throughout the city. As part of this project, we are currently looking for a Traffic Quality Manager to join our Scarborough Subway Extension Project. What You Will Do: Responsible for following the Quality Manual and its related processes, the Traffic and Transit Management Plans and the various project specific Traffic Control Plans, Emergency Service Access Plan, Incident Management Plan, Transit Management Plan, Communication Plan, and Construction Access Management Plan. Support QA/QC awareness for all traffic and transit related activities and provide training as necessary. Prepare and conduct Quality Audits of the Traffic and Transit Management Plan and the requirements outlined in the Project Agreement relative to temporary traffic and transit management. Prepare Audit Reports, compile audit findings, and conduct follow ups. Identify and document opportunities for improvements as well as facilitate lessons learn meetings. Verify that any equipment that requires so, is fit for purpose, is properly calibrated, and maintained as required. Identify, review, and report Non-Conformances. Support the disposition of Non-Conformances. Support identification of root cause of Non-Conformances and the implementation of corrective actions. Prepare and maintain quality records pertaining to their assigned portion of work. Participate in Quality meetings with the Client and support the Quality Director in traffic and transit related matters. Other duties as requested by the Quality Director. Experience You Will Bring: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related industry. Hands on experience in implementing Traffic Management for roads and transit in infrastructure projects in Canada, especially in Ontario. Quality certification from a certification body is an asset, but not mandatory. Completed ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Training Couse. Minimum of 10 years of experience in transit / rail projects in the field of Traffic/Transit Management and/or planning, and in Infrastructure projects of similar size and complexity. Familiarity with ISO 9001 Experienced in auditing Traffic Quality Management systems, specially in Infrastructure projects including subways in urban areas. Preferably experience or understanding of transit or construction systems in Ontario Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Proficiency with MS Office tools, document control, etc. Please note that This role requires frequent onsite presence across the project alignment. Why Join Us?
