Junior Recruiter / HR Administrator

Responsibilities :

  • Supports the recruitment operations for various lines of business such as head office operations, collections, and contact centres
  • Present and negotiate rates/salaries and job offers including counter offers
  • Contact references and complete background checks
  • Select most appropriate advertising format for job postings
  • Assist with a variety of HR tasks

Must Have Skills :

  • 2+ years of progressive recruitment experience in a high-volume/ fast paced environment (agency or corporate)
  • Must be reliable, independent, motivated and results-driven
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Very good interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced work environment
  • Very organized and works well under pressure
  • Ability to juggle competing deadlines, resilient
  • Prioritize the key tasks and responsibilities of the role and be able to quickly zero in on the critical tasks while still accomplishing the goals within the role.

  • Open to continuous learning and seeking feedback and advice when faced with new or challenging situations.

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and managing databases
  • Completed College Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or other business related field

Required Hours at our Richmond Hill Office :

  • Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
