Job descriptionRole KS1 & KS2 Primary Teacher Location SudburyStart: September 2024 As a KS1 & KS2 Primary Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in inspiring and educating our pupils. You will deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of a diverse student body, while fostering a love for learning and promoting a positive classroom environment. Collaboration with colleagues, parents, and the wider community is integral to our ethos, and we encourage innovative approaches to teaching and learning.KS1 & KS2 Primary Teacher Key Responsibilities:Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the National Curriculum, ensuring differentiation to meet the needs of all learnersCreate a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and respectedAssess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic and personal developmentCollaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the wider school communityEstablish positive relationships with parents and guardians, providing regular communication regarding pupil progress and well-beingKS1 & KS2 Primary Teacher Requirements:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalentExperience working with primary-aged children, preferably in a diverse urban settingStrong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgroundsCommitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all pupilsAs a KS1 & KS2 primary teacher please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
