OTR-Canada specializes in the manufacturing, distribution & recertification of wheels and rims for mining, earthmover, construction, and forestry, agricultural and industrial machinery. At the present time our company is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual to join our Guelph team as a Labourer/Tire Mounter.

Skill Requirements: Completion of High School preferred, but not a necessity

Credentials: Able to lift 18-22 kg (40-50lbs) on a consistent basis.

Product Experience/Knowledge: Tire mounting experience an asset

Specific Skills: Assemble and disassemble tire and wheels, inflation of tires. Inspection of tires and wheels for defects. Usage of Inflation cages, air lines, cranes, tire mounting machines, hand tools

Other skills: Demonstrated ability to multitask, time management skills and organizational skills. Must pay attention to detail. Ability to meet all given deadlines. Proven written and verbal communication. Ability to work alone or with others. Ability to problem solve, make decisions, and find information and willing to continuously learn.

Security and Safety: Safety conscious, steel toe boots, safety glasses, ear plugs, masks

Transportation/Travel Information: Close to a bus route

Salary & Benefits :Benefits include: Life, Dependent Life, AD&D, LTD, Health, Dental, Vision and Pension, Wage: Start at $20.00. After 3 months increase to $21.00/hour (annual review increases based on performance)

Paid Time Off (PTO) begins accruing after the introductory period as follows : The year of hire: Once probation period is complete (3-months), PTO begins at the first of the month following probationary period. At this time, the employee will have the prorated days to take in year of hire.

  • January 1 following the date of hire - 80 Hours (2 Weeks)
  • January 1 of the year of the 5-year anniversary - 120 Hours (3 Weeks)
  • January 1 of the year of the 10-year anniversary - 160 Hours (4 Weeks)
  • January 1 of the year of the 20-year anniversary - 200 Hours (5 Weeks)

Salary : From $20.00 per hour
