Delivery Driver

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a large commercial truck to deliver fresh produce to various locations according to assigned routes.
• Load and unload produce, ensuring proper handling and storage to maintain product quality.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, documenting any issues or maintenance requirements.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while on the road.
• Provide exceptional customer service by professionally interacting with customers at delivery locations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues that arise.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information as required.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries.
• Maintain a clean and organized truck, both internally and externally.

Qualifications:

• Clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a large truck driver, preferably in a produce or food delivery setting.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and practices associated with operating large commercial vehicles.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading of produce and work in varying weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Salary : $20.00 per hour

Experience :

• delivery: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Class G Licence for 3 + years (required)
