We are offering an exciting opportunity for an on-site IT Coordinator in Kitchener, Ontario. This role involves managing and maintaining the IT infrastructure of our organization, providing technical support to staff, and ensuring the security and efficiency of our IT operations. The selected candidate will be part of a team that is integral to our ongoing operations and success. Responsibilities: • Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and systems. • Provide technical support to staff members, resolving any IT-related issues they may encounter in their work. • Coordinate with external vendors as necessary to procure IT equipment, software, or services. • Monitor the organization's IT systems to ensure their security and efficiency, taking proactive steps to prevent issues before they occur. • Resolve technical issues that arise, troubleshooting problems to find the most effective solution. • Use Citrix Technologies and Cisco Networking to manage and support the organization's IT infrastructure. • Utilize Active Directory to manage user accounts and access rights within the organization. • Use MS Office 365 for communication, collaboration, and productivity tasks. • Manage the organization's Database and Network servers, ensuring they are running efficiently and securely. • Perform Configuration Management tasks to maintain the consistency of the organization's IT systems. • Oversee the Deployment of new IT equipment or software, ensuring it is done correctly and efficiently. • Minimum of three years of experience in a Help Desk Analyst role or similar IT support role. • Experience with Database management and maintenance. • Knowledge and understanding of Active Directory. • Familiarity with Computer Hardware and its troubleshooting. • Experience in Configuration Management is essential. • Proven track record in Deployments. • Proficiency in MS Office 365. • Knowledge of Cisco Networking is necessary. • Experience with Network servers is required. • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to work well in a team setting as well as independently. • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. • Availability to work in shifts if required. • Candidates should possess relevant certifications in IT and Help Desk support.
