Facilities Coordinator | Up to $65 000 | West Island, (MTL) | Industrial Property | Bilingual Your New Company Hays Facilities Management is proud to partner with a global leader in industrial machinery leader looking to recruit a facilities coordinator to support their operation in the west island of Montreal. Their facility-related goals continue to grow rapidly, and are looking to grow their team to enhance them. The selected individual will be responsible for internal systems related to facilities and will support the daily requirements of building operations. Your New Role Assist in planning and executing installation standards and best practices. Develop and maintain a list of contractor and supplier contacts, including compliance records for contractors. Ensure compliance with legislative requirements regarding building and property classification. Handle and monitor work requests from design to completion. Monitor facility-related expenses, including project-related work. Ensure ongoing compliance and suggest improvement opportunities. Assist in project execution. Participate in workplace safety, environmentally respectful behaviors, and goals at all times to support Toromont’s health and safety policies, programs, and initiatives. Implement and manage data in the new Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Be responsible for various Building Automation Systems (BAS) for energy efficiency and operations. Oversee the access control platform (Ccure 9000) for monitoring schedules and critical equipment in the facilities. Maintain the existing security camera system. What you need to succeed The ideal candidate for the Facilities Coordinator position should have a bachelor’s degree or D.E.C. in design or a related field. They need a minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design using Adobe software and 5 years of programming experience with technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with multimedia software, teamwork skills, creativity, and an understanding of brand standards are essential. Experience in motion design and video editing would be advantageous.
