Job DescriptionTasks will include but not limited to:Manage the purchasing, warehousing, shipping, receiving, stock control and disposal of obsolete stock and equipment. Receive, handle and prepare items for shipment. Order material from internal and external sources and purchase supplies. Deliver supplies and provide services to operational units. Perform recordkeeping, stocktaking and inventory control. Maintain accounting and financial records. Process and coordinate repair and disposal functions. Maintain relevant technical documentation. Provide life cycle material management of ISTAR Command & Control equipment. Manage incoming and outgoing equipment within Canada and over-seas. This equipment is tracked on a DND system called DRMIS (Defence Resource Management Info System)Provide logistical support for various equipment such as: weapons locating systems, electronic warfare systems, HP servers, tactical communications equipment etc. Organize equipment and move to various locations as needed. This section/group is heavily relied upon and extremely important to be able to track supplies properly. Will need to know where equipment is within the warehouse and must be able (previous experience strongly preferred) to use DRMIS create and track items. QualificationsPrime work site: Gatineau, QC (2 days per week) and other Ottawa locations (3 days per week) with occasional travel to Montreal for work purposes. Candidates that have a background as a “Supply Technician” in the Canadian Forces would be considered a strong asset. Must hold a valid (be eligible to obtain) Secret Level 2 PSPC Clearance. Previous experience using DRMIS (Defence Resource Management Information System) is a strong asset. Experience with SAP modules also considered. Must have proof of College Diploma in Electronics, Computer Technology or a relevant technical field required support LCSS (Land Command Support Systems) or Demonstrated Qualification Level 6B (QL6B) in a relevant technical field required to support LCSS and demonstrated minimum substantive rank of Warrant Officer in the Canadian Forces.  6+ years of demonstrate experience within the last 8 years in a minimum of 6 of these assessment criteria below: Experience using a recognized Process framework or using a LCMM Handbook.  Experience working on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (e.g., SAP) for equipment cataloguing.  Experience working on ERP for maintaining and developing checklists.  Experience working on ERP for coordinating equipment distribution.  Evaluating and providing solutions to deficiencies in Technical Failure Reports (TFR) and Unsatisfactory Condition Reports (UCR)  Analyzing Statements of Operational Requirements (SOR).  Reviewing Technical Data Packages (TDP).  Planning and executing equipment demilitarization and disposal.  3+ years of demonstrated experience within the last 5 years in the preparation of technical documents including requirements, specification, checklists, bulletins, reports, proposals equipment disposal plans etc. 4+ years of demonstrated experience in at least 4 of the following assessment criteria: Developing briefings notes and presentations to address technical and logistics issues pertaining to equipment.  Consulting with stakeholders to support the life cycle management of equipment.
