We currently have an outstanding opportunity in our Richmond, B.C. location for an initiative-taking collaborator who will assist in managing the warehouse operations and facilities. What Your Day May Look Like: Recording inventory quantities, type and value of material and stock on hand using computerized inventory system. Maintain stock rotation and dispose of and account for outdated stock as assigned. Enter data stock replenishment/relocation and inventory adjustments. Reconcile physical inventory and computer counts. May assist with putting away of stock of incoming shipments in a timely fashion, which may include associated paperwork. Cutting and picking of stock when necessary and in relation to keeping counts correct Assist and participate in the preparation and completion of inventory counts. Act as necessary to maintain a clean and safe working environment for self and others. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.   What You Will Need to Succeed: Proficient in inventory software, barcode scanners, and Microsoft Excel Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organization Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. Experience in Wholesale Distribution Excellent knowledge of electrical wire/cable Thorough knowledge of warehousing policies and practices.  Ability to comprehend verbal and written instructions.  Ability to operate a computer. Management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.  Ability to use or repair small, medium, and heavy equipment and machinery.
