The Communities of Practice focus on supporting physicians with the tools, skills and relationships to advance specific care areas across BC. The care areas are Child and Youth Mental Health and Substance Use, Perinatal, and Chronic Disease. The position requires strong organizational and proactive administrative skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. The Senior Administrative Assistant is expected to have excellent oral and written communication skills as they will compose and edit correspondence, and a variety of high-level documents for the team, such as meeting minutes, briefing notes, agendas, and powerpoint presentations. This role will support meetings, events, and learning sessions and will in turn require someone who has outstanding attention to detail, a high-level of confidentiality, and the political acumen to communicate with stakeholders and partners. The documentation maintained by this role supports the committees and key strategic initiatives and is vital to tracking the important work of the Communities of Practice.WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE Building Relationships (I): Establishes and maintains relationships and alliances.Shares information and readily determines to whom to go for relevant information.Seeks assistance and feedback in the problem solving process.Partners with others to achieve expectations.
