Tooling Designer

itec group is seeking an experienced Tooling Designer specializing in Transfer and Progressive Dies. As a Tooling Designer , you will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of transfer and progressive dies using SolidWorks software. Your expertise will contribute to the manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality parts and components.   Responsibilities: Design transfer and progressive dies according to project requirements, including die layouts, component drawings, and assembly drawings. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to understand project specifications and constraints. Utilize SolidWorks software to create 2D and 3D models of dies, tooling components, and related fixtures. Work closely with toolmakers and machinists to ensure accurate implementation of designs and troubleshoot any issues during fabrication. Qualifications: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Proven experience  as a Tooling Designer with a focus on transfer and progressive dies. Proficiency in SolidWorks software for 3D modeling and drafting.
