Manager, Warehouse Operations

Wild Coast Rentals Inc. is one of Metro Vancouver’s top Audio, Lighting, Video, StageLine, Temporary Power & Heating companies. We support all sizes of events from small community to festivals to touring productions and industrial projects from hospitals to gas stations. WCR is a fast growing company that promotes a casual work environment with direct communication to management and ownership.

We are actively hiring a team members to assist with day-to-day Management and Operations of the warehouse tasks.

You should be able to :

• Complete company paperwork as required
• Check in and out of equipment and manage shortages
• Maintain a clean and tidy shop
• Manage and schedule shop labour as required.
• Participate in the loading and unloading of freight and equipment from vehicles
• Operate warehouse equipment such as but not limited to pallet jacks, forklifts, dollies and carts.
• Perform maintenance task as required on company assets.
• Pick up and drop off of general freight, equipment, cross rentals or other items as deemed necessary

Key Requirements :

• Required language: Fluent English in reading, writing and speaking
• Previous warehouse experience in the AV industry is an asset.
• Clean driver’s abstract
• Valid forklift certification.
• Valid Level 1 First Aid certificate
• Schedule flexibility a must. Be willing to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays and nights as required.
• Must be able to lift and carry at least 60lbs

Salary : $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

Flexible Language Requirement:

• French not required

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience :

• warehouse: 3 years (preferred)
• Audio Visual: 3 years (required)

Language :

• English Fluently (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Class 5 drivers license (required)
