Responsibilities :

• Clean and maintain buildings, offices, and other areas.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Empty trash cans and replace liners.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other surfaces.
• Dust furniture and fixtures.
• Clean bathrooms and restock supplies.
• Assist with all outdoor maintenance and upkeep of the grounds
• Maintain equipment in good working order.
• Perform minor repairs.
• Perform Setup and Tear down programs, fundraisers and events.
• Assist with evening and week-end rentals and fundraisers.
• Unlock and Lock facility and secure the building when facility not in use.
• Cash Handling and cash register experience is required, front and side desk monitoring and duties.

Duties :

• Should have at least 2 years of previous experience in this field
• The ability to lift and bend repeatedly with items that could weigh up to 30lbs
• Available flexible work schedule and evening and weekend work
• Ability to work with Centre members/volunteers and other staff
• Be able to perform duties with mínimal supervision
• Smart Serve would be an assets
• Food handling Certificate would be assets.

Job Type : Part-time Part-time hours: 15-20 per week

Salary : $18.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

• French not required

Schedule:

• Evening shift
• On call
• Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Chatham-Kent, ON N7M 6G9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
