Position Overview A leading provider in North America for rental trucks essential to the waste, recycling, and logistical industries is actively seeking a dedicated Operations Manager. As an integral component of our Operations Team, the Operations Manager will be responsible for the uptime, readiness, and reconditioning of our substantial rental fleet. The Operations Manager will work closely with Fortune 500 companies, municipalities, and a network of independently owned companies, making a significant contribution to essential services. Essential Job Functions The Operations Manager will collaborate with other Operations Managers to manage hundreds of essential services trucks throughout their lifecycle. The Operations Manager will leverage predictive maintenance and GPS technology to maximize truck uptime while on rent. Directly providing support to customers for any down equipment will be a critical duty for the Operations Manager, ensuring minimal operational disruption. In partnership with our dealer network, the Operations Manager will manage trucks from rental return to rental readiness efficiently and cost-effectively. The Operations Manager will also work with our dealer network to smoothly and cost-effectively navigate the trucks through the reconditioning and sale process. Utilizing company processes and technology, the Operations Manager will communicate the status of equipment across sales, operations, finance, and directly to customers. Ideal Experience A High School Diploma or GED is required for the Operations Manager position. A minimum of 5 years' experience in Dealer/Fleet management, with a preference for those with experience in the waste industry, is essential for the Operations Manager role. The Operations Manager must possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with a diverse customer base. We are looking for a disciplined Operations Manager with a strong ability to work independently. Proficiency in web-based applications (e.g., Sales Force), MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc., is crucial for the Operations Manager.
