Kelly has partnered with a reputable Technology manufacturing company. Our client is looking to hire 2 Hand Soldering Operators to join the Warehouse team in Richmond, BC. This is a temporary position that would lead to a permanent role based on performance.
2 positions 1 for Day and 1 for afternoon shift.
Location: Richmond, BC
Long term contract

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Solder, inspect and rework through-hole and SMT components with the use of a microscope following IPC 610 & IPC 7711 Class 2 standards
Rework SMT components sized 0402, QFN and fine pitch components
Enter required data into spreadsheet (part number, quantity etc.)
Complete production documentation as required
Report problems related to quality, processes, equipment, and/or material to SMT team leader
Comply with Company guidelines, equivalent Experience:
Previous hand soldering experience is required, minimum one year experience is preferred
Certification of industry standards such as IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 preferred Knowledge
Skills & Abilities:
Excellent manual dexterity
Basic Electronic knowledge
Ability to read assemblies diagrams and Bill Of Materials
Specific vision requirements include close vision and color vision
High attention to detail
Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and training
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a dedication to quality and safety
Following directions while working with a team and maintaining a positive and respectful workplace
Ability to use critical thinking and problem solving
Good communication skills and the ability to read, write and speak English
Ability to enter required data into spreadsheet (part number, quantity etc.)
Working Conditions (ie. lifting, standing for long periods)
Ability to work overtime and weekend shifts as required
Standing/Standing, walking for extended periods of time
Repetitive motions
Minimal bending, stooping, crouching, twisting and overhead lifting
Regular lifting of up to 5kg
Use of cleaning solutions
Safe work procedures and regulatory requirements per Quality System
Maintaining a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
Follow ESD safe handling practices
Assisting in other manufacturing areas as necessary
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications (indicated preferred or required) Education:
High school diploma

Work Schedule?
Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm OR
Monday to Friday from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am
Possibility of overtime on weekends
