Our client in Dorval is currently looking for a account manager representative. Reporting to the Manager of the key accounts, the account manager representativeis responsible to handle activities including order taking, processing orders from beginning to end, providing a single point of contact to ensure a consistent customer experience, coordinating order fulfillment, providing necessary information to customers, and problem resolution. Responsibilities • Maintain a working relationship with established customers • Provide current pricing and discount structure • Provide samples and technical data to customers • Maintain transaction records on customers and their specific issues • Attend and participate in company and supplier sales meetings • Participate in technical groups to develop product knowledge • Control inventory levels, coordinate orders to satisfy customer orders • Meet with established customers to sell company products and services • Explain company products and services and demonstrate and/or display products • Obtain and renew sales orders, arrange delivery, handle correspondence as required • Develop a working relationship with company personnel to ensure customer needs and issues are addressed • Provide customer service and inventory personnel with specific customer information needed to expedite orders and service customers • Assist in the planning of own short- and long-term goals • Schedule customer visits 1-2 weeks in advance • Enter all customer dynamics information into Salesforce.com following a customer visit • Other tasks as needed Qualifications What you’ll need: • University degree and two (2) years of specialized training in a related field (i.e. chemistry, sales) and two (2) years of outside sales experience is required • Must be self-motivated, have the ability to relate well to people and possess good communication skills. • Must have excellent people skills to interact with internal and external customers and vendors • Must have strong organizational skills and be able to work independently, show initiative in addition to strong written and oral communication skills • He or she must be a team player who is customer oriented • Strong computer skills are required • Bilingualism is essential (French-English) SAP experience an asset If interested in this opportunity or know someone who would be a good fit.
