We AIM for excellence.What we offer!A competitive wage, vacation, benefits and a RRSP matching programThe tools and support needed to be successful in your career and professional developmentA dynamic & rewarding work environment that is also a lot of fun! Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Millwrightto join our team in Hamilton, Ontario!ResponsibilitiesReading blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work proceduresInstalling, aligning, dismantling and moving stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, furnaces and generators according to layout plans using hand and power toolsOperating hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks and tractors to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machineryInspecting and examining machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctionsInstalling, troubleshooting and maintaining power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systemsCleaning, lubricating and performing other routine maintenance work on equipment.Assembling machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipmentQualificationsMillwright 433A licenseExperience working safely in a heavy industrial settingMust be comfortable working indoors, outdoors, and exposure to the elementsProficient in welding and torch cutting a mustAble to conduct and complete scheduled Preventative Maintenance tasks and checklistsAble to complete work orders and ensure any parts that are used are documented for reorderingEager to learn the proper operation and diagnostic capabilities of state-of-the-art equipmentAble to work independently and stay focused and on-taskAble to prioritize urgency based on production requirements
