We have a new opening for Industrial Maintenance Millwrights looking to grow a career in Richmond, BC! (no ticket required) Great opportunity for new to the trade but experienced individuals who have the millwright experience, but maybe not the school hours yet. We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience in a food industry doing daily PMs. We are a quickly expanding company that is looking to add more people to our Afternoon shift. We are a 24/7 facility so there are plenty of opportunities to move shifts or positions internally. We heavily encourage growth and would be interested in hiring someone that wants to learn, is open-minded, reliable and likes a good challenge. Most of our machines can be very manual so we are looking for someone with genuine interest in this type of work. Ability to lift up to 30lbs in a safe manner. - Some repairs will be conducted in high or low temperature environments, depending on the location within the facility - Utilize our CMMS to receive, complete and close Work Orders, as well as order parts. - Ensure production downtime is minimized and production output is maximized - Perform mechanical preventative maintenance on all facility equipment as assigned - Reading and troubleshooting based on mechanical diagrams and schematics drawings Qualifications - Working knowledge of lathe, milling machine, grinder and hand tools - Ability to lift, push and pull heavier items throughout the day as needed - 3-5 years' experience in a maintenance role is an asset - Experience in a food industry would be preferred - Work in multiple temperatures, and demanding deadlines - Able to handle repetitive and sometimes non-stop work - Located in or around the Richmond, BC area Summary If this sounds like the perfect job opportunity for you, send us your resume or refer a friend and we will contact you shortly to book an interview time!
