THE ROLEAs the Merchant, you will:Identify the customer segments that we want to target in the marketplaceDetermine the optimal assortment for each function in our customers’ lifeEnsure top priority trends and elements are optimally represented across our assortmentEvaluate what is and isn’t driving our businessIdentify what is driving others’ businessMaximize on business opportunities to make each style saleableProvide cross-functional input to ensure a world class shopping experienceProvide creative and business input to ensure the realization of our optimal assortmentTHE QUALIFICATIONSThe Merchant has:An understanding and passion for the industry in which we operateAn understanding of Aritzia’s brand vision and style fundamentals with a focus on trends and cultural influencesThe ability to collaborate with cross-functional partnersA commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the businessTHE COMPENSATIONThe typical hiring range for this position is $50,000 - $150,000 per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
