Shift: 5am to 6:30 am to 1:30 to 3pm finish. Majority of team starts at 5:30 or 6am. Skills: 2+ years in elctro-mechanical assembly. Attention to detail and defect free production. This role will be building standard product in a production environment with defined process and drawings. Assembles precision electro-mechanical assemblies and tests final product to specifications. Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications. Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. May require 2+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures with precision assembly and low voltage electrical wiring. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision& reports to department manager. Lean manufacturing, 5S and Kaizen experience considered an asset. Special Considerations: Lifting is generally in the 10 to 15 Lbs. range with minimal repetitions. Exposure to machinery, chemical, biological, and physical risks is minimal.
