Professional Senior, Engineering - Structure Design

We are a global organization focused on working together with a team spirit.In your Professional Sr, Engineering - Structures Design role, you will• Provide technical direction to junior and intermediate design engineers to accomplish day to day tasks.• Provide technical engineering solutions to production line for all structural and system installation issues.• Ensure effective management of all design activities by closely working with other engineering departments, internal and external customers, Methods, Quality and Procurement.• Work closely with the Section Chief to continuously develop skills of team members through coaching, employee training and development.• Closely interface with, stress, systems, manufacturing and test groups.• Prepare engineering-related structural and systems layouts, interface drawings, installations, assembly and detail drawings.• Support design and program reviews with partner/suppliers;• Status projects for functional management.• Maintain technical knowledge and awareness of developments related to airframe structuresAs our ideal candidate• You have bachelors or Master’s degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.• You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in airframe primary and secondary structural design including systems installations,• You have understanding of airframe configuration optimization, loads, stress analysis, materials, manufacturing processes, tooling concepts and structural in-service requirements. • You have knowledge of CATIA V4/V5.• You have understanding of civil aircraft certification rules and experience in certification procedures.• You are adept at solving engineering problems in a high-pressure environment and can deal with complex issues quickly and independently.• You have pro-active mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities.• You must be able to work in a team environment and collaborate with Technical Experts, Professionals and Technicians on a daily basis• You have excellent communication skills in English. French will be considered an asset. • You have strong leadership, excellent interpersonal skills and a high sense of commitment.• You are familiar with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
