Canyon School requires a part-time Early Learning Educational Assistant to start on August 27, 2024 and end on June 26, 2025. This position is 15 hours per week, Monday-Thursday afternoons. Working with the Early Learning Educator, programming goals will be directed by a collaborative team and implemented by the Educational Assistant. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to the delivery of student-centered programming with a belief that all children can learn. Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of Level I certification required Training in speech and language support Knowledge and understanding of early childhood development through a Reggio Emelia and Place- Based approach Ability to build relationships with children, families and members of the learning team in a collaborative environment Enthusiastic and motivated to help students succeed Experience with and/or training working with children with diverse learning needs in an inclusive environment Current First Aid certification, and Siva training are an asset Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
