As the IT Administrator, you will chair the effective and accurate processing of IT purchase orders and requests. This role also supports the IT Organization on additional tasks for Program Management, Project Control, and IT Controlling. You will be the liaison between vendors and departments for order status, procurement procedures, and problem resolution; as well as internal departments such as Finance and HR. Additional responsibilities include creation and distribution of IT KPI report data from the global help ticket system to support managers and IT leadership and supporting in forecast procedures. While the focus of this role will be supporting the NA IT Team, it will also work within the global LPA IT Organization as a shared resource.

So what will you be doing as the IT Administrator?

  • Supports PMO Manager in tracking all IT Projects, by using the LPA IT Program Management Procedures, secure a correct allocation of Resources based on the Business Piorities
  • Reviews, processess for purchasing requests such as purchase requisitions and small purchase orders for goods or services to ensure compliance with the L&P Automotive purchasing procedures and user requirements.
  • Reviews and evaluates contracts, issues award letters and purchase orders, negotiates change orders, and determines sole source validity.
  • Support IT Management in tracking IT Spending according to the aproved Budget across the Team.
  • Maintains records in accordance with established policies and procedures and audit guidelines.
  • Oversee IT Contracts. Monitor all external and internal Service providers on the Level of SLA Achievements, sign Documents based on the LPA Delegation of Authority.
  • Maintains data information, files reports, price lists on assigned commodities, negotiates prices and terms.
  • Performs miscellaneous job related duties as assigned.

To be successful in this role, you will need :

  • Minimum 1-2 Years of Experience in IT Procurement
  • Experinece in IT Financial and IT Budget Management
  • Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns.
  • Search for and negotiate contracts with suppliers and manufacturers
  • Able to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks and achieve set targets
  • Computer literate with advanced Excel and MS Access skills/abilities
  • Effectively communicate and report information to senior IT management/leadership
  • Ability to analyze and compile data into useful KPI reports.
