Job Overview Working under general supervision, this job contributes to Wawanesa success by maintaining, supporting, and enhancing business systems and applications. This role will be part of the Digital Delivery department which focuses on developing and enhancing Wawanesa's broker and member facing digital solutions using industry leading technologies and frameworks. This includes building the ecosystem using a broker centric design approach with a strong focus on enhancing the user experience for our brokers in Canada. Job Responsibilities Manage, facilitate, and communicate development delivery plans and progress with all required stakeholders. Manage application development team activities to ensure successful completion of work assignments. Manage and maintain applications, following IS department standards and industry best practices. Enforce application development standards following IS department established methodologies. Maintain service levels. Plan and manage application vitality. Develop and deliver project status updates, operational reports and presentations to various stakeholders. Contribute to annual operational planning. Contribute to departmental budget creation. Ensure continuous improvement in operational processes. Oversee and coach a team to ensure work environment is respectful, challenging, and rewarding, and employees are maximized to their full potential while contributing to the achievement of the company's goals. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Completion of post-secondary degree/certificate or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience leading technical delivery teams in a Salesforce environment using Scrum for software development life cycle. Strong understanding of Jira and Confluence. Experience with relevant analysis, design, system development maintenance tools and technology. Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner with style fitting for the audience and message. Strong planning and organizing skills, with the ability to develop and implement plans by prioritizing and multi-tasking. Good leadership skills, with the ability to facilitate high team morale by encouraging and coaching team members. Good decision-making skills, with the ability to directs team members to achieve goals through clear instruction. Knowledge and experience in Property & Casualty industry an asset. CSM (Certified Scrum Master) certification is an asset. Knowledge and experience in Varicent ICM (Incentive Compensation Management) is an asset. Salesforce certifications are an asset.
