Accounting Clerk

Working with a leading automotive dealership in the Fraser Valley, we have partnered to assist them in growing their finance team. They have an immediate opening for an Accounting / Administrative Clerk to augment the work of their highly tenured accounting team. Your prior 'dealership' experience will benefit your interest in pursuing this role. This is a full-time / permanent position situated in the newly remodeled professional offices. Job Description: Analyze financial transactions and accounts to determine accuracy and completeness of entries Process retail and wholesale deals Register vehicle sales and extended warranty purchases Review, investigate and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents and reports Set up employee profiles in various systems. Develop an in-depth working knowledge of all operational and accounting computer software/equipment systems that impact the accounting and financial reporting processes Verification and processing of time sheets Prepare various other monthly account reconciliations Other special projects, reports, tasks, and financial assessments Assist with the accounting of inventory categories and cleaning of schedules Prepare schedules for part time / casual staff Submit WorkSafe BC claims, manage company group benefits program. Requirements: Two years of experience in the automotive accounting industry, PBS experience a benefit Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with a high level of proficiency in Excel Must possess strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level accountability Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Proven ability to multi-task in a high-volume, fast-paced working environment, frequently under urgent deadlines If this sounds like the role for you, please apply today!
