Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Pre-Press Operator to join their dynamic team in Guelph. This role has emerged due to an influx of work, particularly in their new printing-on-cans initiative. As a Pre-Press Operator, you will play a crucial role in preparing artwork for production, ensuring all specifications are met and working closely with the operations team in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities -Utilize Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create and prepare artwork for print production. -Perform color separations and adjustments to bring designs up to print specifications. -Collaborate with the team to problem-solve and execute projects efficiently. -Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail throughout the production process. -Adapt and learn quickly in a production environment, contributing to a positive team culture. Qualifications -Experience: 3-5 years in a pre-press environment; candidates with 2-3 years may be considered. -Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator; familiarity with Photoshop is a plus. -Industry Experience: Background in the print or packaging industry preferred, with transferable skills in flexo printing. -Proficient in Adobe Illustrator -Experience in a pre-press or production design role -Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities -Quick learner with the ability to work independently -Proactive in asking questions and seeking clarification -Strong attention to detail Summary Please know that while we are an equal-opportunity employer, only qualified candidates will be considered Randstad Canada is committed to fostering a workforce reflective of all peoples of Canada.
