Community Care Concepts is a non-profit volunteer-based organization that provides high quality support services throughout the Townships of Woolwich, Wellesley and Wilmot that enable seniors and adults with disabilities to remain as independent as possible in their own homes.
We are searching for a Program Assistant (hourly contract-up to 35 hours per week) , to work in our adult day programs in Elmira and New Hamburg.
Working cooperatively with program staff and volunteers, the Program Assistant is directly involved in delivering a full-day program to meet the social, physical, emotional and cognitive needs of our clients allowing them to enhance or maintain their abilities.
Computer proficiency as well as strong oral and written communication skills, an ability to work independently, program planning and delivery skills and knowledge of the needs of the client base are essential. A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle are essential. A mandatory vaccination policy is in place within the organization.
Please note that the base salary reflects the provincial personal support service wage enhancement program.
