Overview : Join us as an MLI Program Coordinator! In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in creating a positive and enriching experience for students and teachers involved in our program. We are looking for an enthusiastic and organized individual to ensure seamless communication, foster connections, and facilitate engaging activities throughout the program.

MLI Program Coordinator Teacher responsibilities are :

  • Reporting to designated MLI staff duration of the programme
  • Participate in planning meetings
  • Assist in organizing the program at a host school
  • Work closely with the host school's coordinator to facilitate communication between Japanese teachers and school staff, ensuring a cohesive experience
  • Act as the primary liaison between MLI and Japanese chaperones, addressing their needs and facilitating effective communication
  • Lead and run engaging activities during the full-day excursion on Friday, October 25, ensuring a memorable experience for all participants
  • Proactively troubleshoot any issues or emergencies that arise during program days to maintain a positive environment
  • Ensure all teachers, staff, and students are enjoying a fulfilling experience throughout the program
  • Attending the homestay matching on Arrival Day and seeing off student departures on Departure Day
  • Monitor morning student arrivals / afternoon student departures on program days
  • Attending social events, including evening gatherings with visiting Japanese chaperones if required
  • Daily check-ins with students on their wellbeing
  • Collaborate with MLI office staff and the Local Coordinator to resolve any concerns related to homestays effectively
  • Be available for on-call duty over the weekend and on Departure morning, providing assistance in emergency situations

Job Type : Fixed term contract Contract length: 6 days

Pay: $1,000.00 per week
