Bayshore Home Care Solution in Sarnia is looking for Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to join our amazing team. We are looking for Personal Support Workers to work in the South County area including but not limited to the Watford, Wyoming, Arkona area. This position is a guaranteed hours position of 50 hours bi-weekly . There are currently 2 positions available, one for 6am-3pm with one day off during the week and an every other weekend requirement, and one for 3pm-9pm with one day off during the week and an every other weekend requirement. Weekends to work would be a split shift of 6am-1pm and 5pm-9pm both Saturday and Sunday. More details can be shared during the interview.
Primary Service Area : You will be scheduled within South County including but not limited to Watford, Wyoming, Arkona.
Wage determined based on years of experience.
What you’ll be doing : As a Personal Support Worker (PSW), you will make a difference everyday by providing the highest quality of home care to our clients. This includes but not limited to: Providing cognitive, social, emotional, and psychological support to clients and their families in home or cluster-care settings
Using a company-provided work device, document information required for each client visit
Assisting with use of walkers and canes, transfers from bed, chair, wheelchair, toilet, etc.
AM and HS care including but not limited to dressing, grooming, hair and mouth care, exercises, meal prep, and med cueing.
Personal care: assisting with bathing, showering, toileting, brief changes, etc.
Socializing and companionship
Complete basic housekeeping tasks
Maintain client confidentiality

Job Qualification
What You’ll Need
Must have a valid Ontario driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
PSW certificate or equivalent with local HCCSS or International nursing license
Ability to demonstrate compassion, tact, and diplomacy when interacting with clients and their families
Experience in providing personal care to clients
